Erm.. Hello?

Hey NG users! Long time no talk. I'm OneDude, and I have no clue how to open these blog posts anymore. It's been way too long since I've made one of these because school is a BITCH rn. Tons of work nowadays cuz exams are coming up, but that's not the point of my post today!

As you might know, me and a bunch of other talented artists came together and made a bangin' art collab in December of last year: YIIKMAS 2021, to be precise. I'm still super proud of how it turned out even after all this time, and i couldn't thank the artists enough for coming on board and giving it a shot!

But now, as I come outta this 'lil hiatus, i wanted to start this summer off strong with another kick ass art collab...

The Annual Creature Collab 2022!

Oh yeah. That's right. I'm talking a big collaboration with tons of artists on board all coming together to make a bunch of lil creatures! Its a simple idea, so lemme explain:

• The aim is for participants to draw a lil creature! Could be a big ol' creature, or a tiny 'lil critter. Literally anything goes. The only exception is that it can NOT be explicitly human. Think of those shitty art Instagram posts that tell you to draw something "properly". Fuck that! The more deformed your little homunculus is, the better.

• Give your lil creature a name, and then submit it along with a link to your Newgrounds account! In the final project I imagine that all the creatures will show up on a big mural, and when you hover over one, it highlights and shows its name and a link to the creator's NG account in a little text box to the side of it.

Its still a very rough idea. I haven't really pitched this around much so I'm still somewhat thinking of ways to make this better! That's the real point of this post, actually.

Based on this information, how would you make this a better project? What would you add or subtract? Would you want to join this collab? Leave a message bellow! I'd love to see what the people of Newgrounds think of this idea. It would be a really big project with relatively limited input from participants, making it even bigger.
